Carolyn is a woman of many interests: music, art, education, writing, nature, entertaining friends and family...the list goes on and on. In addition to playing with the Mary’s Basement, Carolyn may also be seen using her piano skills at local schools and St. John’s Church in Ramsey. Carolyn started as a Mary’s Basement fan, rarely missing a performance, but after sitting in at a couple of gigs, she was hooked and soon became a regular member of the band. She enjoys her roles as keyboardist and band mom which constantly hone her ability as a musician and herder of cats. She counts her bandmates among her dearest friends in the world and is thrilled that her daughter, Abby, has now become part of the band too! Carolyn often has to tell people that she is not Mary, but she hopes she represents Mary’s love for the band and her feisty spirit.
